Vyrion, an independent four-piece Black Metal unit from Brisbane Australia, formed in 2007 with the vision to create vicious, distinctive, progressive extreme metal. Vyrion's knack for grand storytelling and extravagant songwriting is matched only by pace, intensity, and sheer brutality.
Vyrion's critically acclaimed debut burst the dam in 2011, taking many by surprise. Vyrion toured heavily on this album playing with Enslaved, Bastardfest and many others.

Vyrion's 2014 Album Geo saw the headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with Bastardizer, Mar Mortuum, Defamer and Bane of Isildur as well as supports for Abbath, Marduk, Portal and Ruins. A concept album telling the story of the final days of a dying planet, Geo saw Vyrion's sound grow deeper, faster and wider - but also heavier.
Vyrion's third album, Nil, unleashed at the end of 2020 through Bandcamp. With Black’n’Roll rotting its heart, Nil brought a relentless bone-crushing, thrashing element to the otherwise intricate Vyrion formula. A concept album telling the stories of civilisations from cradle to eradication, Nil takes all prisoners on a vivid journey of strength and helplessness. Nil is handily the darkest, heaviest and most traditional album in Vyrion's stable - and yet it is unmistakably and uniquely Vyrion. Though released during a prohibitive time for touring bands, Vyrion played this album on Brisbane stages alongside Isua and Malignant Aura in 2021 and 2022.
