Born in Melbourne in 1995, The Berzerker crawled out of the Australian underground and rewired extreme music by fusing death metal, grindcore, speedcore and gabber into something far more hostile than any one scene could contain.

Led by founding force Luke Kenny, the band carved its name into the global metal psyche through Earache Records, a run of five full-length albums including The Berzerker, Dissimulate, World of Lies, Animosity and The Reawakening, and a live reputation built on masks, sensory overload and pure confrontation.

Their video for “Reality” became infamous for its graphic imagery, while their 2004 DVD The Principles and Practices of The Berzerker exposed the chaos behind one of heavy music’s most unhinged acts.

On stage, The Berzerker dragged their noise campaign across Australia, the US, the UK and Europe, touring and sharing stages with Nile, Napalm Death, Strapping Young Lad, Dark Tranquillity, Immolation, Vader, Origin, Dying Fetus, Gorguts, Skinless, Satyricon and Suicide Silence.
