Like a terrible, drowned secret that refuses to grant mercy to the guilty, John Lee Spider rose to the surface of troubled waters in 2025, after a hiatus of over 20 years.

In the 1990’s their blend of grind, jazz, post-rock and hardcore saw them sharing stages with Damaged, Secret Chiefs 3, The Damned, Alchemist, Pitch Shifter, Blood Duster, Brutal Truth and Mr Bungle amongst many more. An album – “Queen Bee”, exists as a document of this period. Against all laws of nature they have returned.

Even as we speak they are writing and recording again.
