One of Australia’s earliest major black metal bands, formed in 1994, Lord Kaos had generated international acclaim by the time of their seminal debut album Thorns Of Impurity, with founding guitarist Astennu going on to relocate to Norway and join both Dimmu Borgir and Covenant.

Reactivated now with Astennu back at the helm, Lord Kaos recently made their successful live return in 2023 and toured extensively Australia in 2024 to great acclaim. With New Zealand and Japan upcoming things are full steam ahead in 2025.
