Cryptivores focus has always been to push musical boundaries.
Conceived from the mind of Chris Anning in 2015 taking influence from early Amorphis, Carcass, Rottrevore and Grave with no fear of mixing riff based death with grind, Cryptivores sound while familiar is a refreshing/unique homage to classic OSDM and Grindcore.
Originally intended to be a one man project it’s since taken a life of its own and made its way to live performances, supporting band such as Exhumed (US), Municipal Waste (US) and Cavalera Conspiracy (BR) with members of Crypt, Excruciate (A ), Pustilence and other Aussie extreme acts helping bring this creation to the stage.
