Carcinoid is an odorous cacophony spewing forth from the reeking grave of Melbourne, Australia since 2018. Bludgeoning the listener into submission with a death metal dirge and slowly eating them away from the inside.

The band embodies raw crushing death/doom elements but also forges their sound by incorporating a plethora of sludge, punk and hardcore stylistic influences. Their sound is characterised by lofi guitars, distinct and prominent bass, guitar feedback, noise and deep, growling vocals.
